NanoMatrix was formed in March 2002,
by five Santa Cruz area founders with a passion for Nanotechnology.
The technology kernel that gave birth to the company was inspired
by the revelation that technology of cavitation could be used
as a tool for small scale fabrication. The founders leveraged
their NASA research experience and their long association with
the Foresight Institute into a company focused on commercialization
of Nanotechnology.
